PV Skylight project in Norway with triple-glazed IGU

Our most recent PV IGU project is the 400 m2 glass roof for Innovation Norway’s new headquarters in Oslo. The building was officially opened by H.R.H. The Crown Prince Hkon and Minister of Industry Jan Christian Vestre at the beginning of 2023.

A total of 252 triple-glazed PV windows, or roughly 400 square meters of solar modules, make up this skylight project. Two different PV IGU module designs were delivered, and they were afterward put in the skylight in a curved shape linked to a steel framework that can support up to 92 kg of weight per piece of the insulated glass unit.

It was an intense and time-sensitive project which ended with a successful and high-quality result – on-time delivery of PV installation and successful completion of the entire construction project.
