Custom solar panels for Priess off-grid street lighting pole

Custom solar panel solution for Priess street lighting poles mainly installed in United Arab Emirates (UAE). Metsolar solution covered development of full cell custom size and power characteristics solar module using glass / backsheet module technology. White backsheet was used for this particular case. Diode was laminated inside this module for water resistance and better overall module efficiency performance.The module was integrated to solar street lighting pole and it fits perfectly together with the same geometry triangular solar bollard. Full cell solar modules are located on one or two out of three sides of a pole, based on energy needs and geographic location. As this lighting solution is self sufficient or in other words off-grid solution – it needs no underground cables to function.
